The Team Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of over 600 sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe. We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way.
The Expeditor is responsible for supporting project procurement activities by monitoring, tracking, and expediting the delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedule requirements. This role works closely with procurement, vendors, logistics, and project teams to identify risks, resolve delays, and ensure timely material availability.
While this role is tied administratively to our Oakville, ON office, the position itself will be based on-site at the project location in the southwestern area of the Athabasca Basin, in Northern Saskatchewan on a rotating basis.
How You Will Contribute
- Execute assigned expediting activities to support on-time delivery of project materials and equipment.
- Monitor the timely issuance and progress of project documents, including RFIs, RFQs, purchase orders, vendor drawings, and data submissions.
- Track vendor manufacturing and delivery schedules against project requirements and identify potential delays.
- Conduct vendor follow-ups, site visits, and shop inspections, as required, to assess progress and compliance with specifications.
- Document expediting visits and vendor communications, clearly identifying schedule risks, quality issues, or corrective actions required.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project controls teams to track material movement and shipping status.
- Support Quality Surveillance and Shop Inspection activities by coordinating inspection readiness and documentation.
- Assist with expediting final inspections, shipping releases, and logistics coordination in collaboration with materials management teams.
- Maintain accurate material status updates in project tracking systems and contribute to regular expediting reports.
- Work directly with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and support corrective action plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in expediting, procurement, or materials management within industrial, EPC, or construction projects.
- P.Log designation is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of supply chain logistics, vendor manufacturing processes, and material control.
- Experience interfacing with procurement, engineering, quality, and logistics teams.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with vendors and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency with procurement systems, expediting logs, and material tracking databases.

The salary range is $104,100 - $126,000 CAD annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
