The Opportunity

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer (Software Engineer II) to join our Flow Platform team in Canada. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening the foundation of our cloud and developer platforms, with a focus on resiliency, automation, and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and refine infrastructure, streamline deployments, and enhance the developer experience. This is a high-impact role with opportunities to lead initiatives that improve platform reliability and engineering velocity

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure on AWS.

• Build and enhance internal developer platform tools to improve productivity.

• Develop and maintain automation services for deployment and operations.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD,

  etc.

• Manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.

• Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Monitor platform health and define actionable alerts to meet SLOs and SLAs.

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and automate operational gaps.

• Contribute to technical discussions, demos, and incident reviews.

What You'll Bring

• 2–5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud

  infrastructure.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and familiarity with other cloud providers (GCP,

  Azure).

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl.

• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).

• Experience with Git and version control best practices.

• Exposure to AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Dev, Claude Code, Cursor).

• Passion for automation and improving developer workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).

• Familiarity with AI agents, autonomous workflows, or MCPs.

• Experience with compliance-driven environments (PCI, SOC2, ISO, HIPAA).

• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.

• Exposure to security and artifact management tools such as: Mend, Sonar, Snyk, JFrog, Rapid7, Wiz, Detectify, GitHub Security, AWS Security Hub
