At docbraces Charlottetown and Summerside, we’re looking for an Office Manager who’s more than just an administrator; you’re a dynamic operations and people leader ready to take ownership of two high-performing orthodontic clinics. About The Role As our Office Manager, you will oversee day-to-day business operations across both clinic locations while empowering your teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience. You’ll play a critical leadership role in driving team performance, clinic efficiency, and culture.
You’ll be at the heart of the action leading strategy execution, motivating people, optimizing schedules, and ensuring every patient interaction reflects our values.
What You’ll Lead And Own
- Clinic Operations: Oversee all operational functions including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource planning.
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop clinic teams to foster performance, accountability, and collaboration.
- Culture & Engagement: Build a high-energy, patient-first culture that supports growth and excellence.
- Business Alignment: Drive key metrics and align team goals with organizational targets and growth initiatives.
- Process Excellence: Champion compliance, patient safety, and operational best practices.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Identify and resolve challenges proactively to support a smooth, high-performing clinic environment.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience as the primary leader responsible for operations and team performance in a single-site or multi-site business (e.g., healthcare, retail, restaurant or service-based industries)
- A proven track record of leading entire teams and managing day-to-day business operations, not just supervising or supporting
- Strong skills in people management, performance coaching, and team engagement
- A solid understanding of business operations, scheduling, workflow management, and basic financials (KPIs, budgets, etc.)
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary education in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is an asset
