About the role
We’re looking for a collaborative DevOps Architect to join our Technology Services team remotely.
As a DevOps Architect, you will provide the technical vision and leadership for our DevOps services. You’ll work closely with Cloud & DevOps Platform, Architecture, Application Development, and Digital Governance to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that align with our broader technology strategy. You’ll also ensure our cloud platform follows industry best practices, with strong automation, monitoring, security, and the scalability needed to support the business.

What You'll Do
- Lead DevOps architecture for complex, cross-domain solutions supporting product roadmaps and customer implementations.
- Support the variety of product and customer needs with as much reuse, automation, and configuration as possible.
- Participate in defining and executing technical strategy in cooperation with the architecture team.
- Work collaboratively with an extended team of domain and technology architects to focus on the alignment of all aspects of the architecture, inclusive of business, application, information, and technology.
- Research, analyze and translate stakeholder requirements into architectural needs – both functional and non-functional.
- Lead PoCs that to evaluate architecture and technical options.
- Perform research and architecture assessments on third-party solutions, and platform components.
- Facilitate well-reasoned and efficient architecture decision-making and recommendations.
- Ensure system architectures are consistent with the organizational technology strategy.
- Improve the understandability of complex problem spaces with new mental models and architecture diagrams.
- Provide expertise in some architectural domains, based on your unique experience and skillsets.
- Monitor the current-state DevOps Architecture to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent education
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership capacity
- 5+ years managing an Cloud environment with AWS as a preference
- Project Management certifications is an asset
- ITIL certification is an asset
