Who we need

Reporting to the Director - , Software Development, we are hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer to join the Business Systems team at Cineplex. As the new Senior SalesForce Developer, you will play a key role in building, extending, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that power the business operations behind Canada’s leading entertainment and media company. From advertising campaigns and corporate event bookings to gift card and voucher management, you will design and implement CRM capabilities that enable teams across the organization to deliver exceptional customer and partner experiences.

As the new Senior Salesforce Developer, you will take ownership of solution architecture, development, and administration within Salesforce—translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will guide best practices, mentor internal developers and admins, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure Salesforce continues to evolve as a robust, integrated platform supporting Cineplex’s growth.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days per week in our Toronto office.

What’s in it for you

  • Hands-on implementation experience. You will be part of a net-new Salesforce implementation, gaining end-to-end exposure to the full lifecycle, from design and configuration to integration and deployment. You will collaborate closely with an external vendor, contribute to solution design decisions, and build scalable, enterprise-grade systems that support multiple business units. This is a rare opportunity to apply and expand your Salesforce expertise in a greenfield environment.
  • Cross-functional exposure. You will work across diverse business domains - media sales, event bookings, and corporate fulfillment - each with its own unique Salesforce use cases. You will gain a deep understanding of how CRM technology powers multiple aspects of a large, multi-brand organization.
  • Growth and career development. You will have the opportunity to expand your skill set beyond Salesforce, exploring integration technologies like .NET/C# while contributing to high-impact projects across multiple business units. You will be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and shared success, gaining exposure to cross-functional stakeholders and strategic initiatives. This experience will position you for future roles in solution architecture, technical leadership, or enterprise systems design.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop. You will build, customize, and optimize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Integrations to support Cineplex’s Media Sales, Rental Booking, and Corporate Orders teams. You will translate complex business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions that drive efficiency and insight across the organization.
  • Administer and manage. You will oversee Salesforce platform operations, including user management, security controls, data integrity, configuration, and environment management. You will ensure system stability, performance, and compliance across all environments.
  • Collaborate and translate. You will partner with business stakeholders and product owners to define requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and provide expert technical recommendations. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business goals with technical delivery.
  • Mentor and guide. You will coach internal developers and administrators who are new to Salesforce, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer. You will champion standards, documentation, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Contribute and innovate. You will participate in Agile ceremonies, cross-team design discussions, and code reviews, sharing insights that shape scalable architecture and enhance collaboration across the Business Systems group.

What you bring:

  • The technical expertise. You are a seasoned Salesforce professional with deep experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows. You bring a strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture, configuration, and customization across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. You know how to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business needs—and can evaluate trade-offs between declarative, custom, and AppExchange approaches.
  • The certifications. You hold a Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.Additional credentials such as Service Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) would be an asset. Your certifications reflect your commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • The experience. You have experience leading Salesforce development efforts, building Apex classes, triggers, and LWCs, and implementing workflows, validation rules, and custom objects. You have facilitated workshops to align business needs with platform capabilities, designed scalable solutions across multiple business units, and integrated Salesforce with external systems. You thrive in high-volume production environments and know how to troubleshoot, optimize, and deliver reliable results.
  • The leadership and mentorship. You have a proven ability to coach and guide junior developers and administrators, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement. You help shape best practices, enforce coding standards, and support team growth through mentorship and collaboration.
  • The collaboration and communication. You are a trusted partner who works seamlessly across technical and non-technical teams. You can lead solution design sessions, facilitate discussions with stakeholders, and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions. You have excellent documentation and communication skills, contributing to well-governed, high-performing Salesforce environments.
