Primary Tasks:
- Lead strategic financial planning, reporting, and analysis across domestic and international operations.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, profit & loss, balance sheet, earnings, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements across all financial functions.
- Direct internal controls, accounting, tax, treasury, insurance, and leasing operations.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Evaluate external economic trends and use predictive modeling to inform financial strategy.
- Implement tools and workflows to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead financial due diligence, capital planning, and liquidity management initiatives.
- Facilitate professional development and succession planning within the finance organization.
- Coordinate with IT to manage and enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance with labor, insurance, and compensation regulations.
- Serve as liaison with external auditors and financial institutions.
- Travel may be required, occasionally exceeding 25%.
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required, Master’s preferred
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
Relevant Work Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
- Has extensive knowledge and experience within own function; Deep understanding of finance, accounting, compliance, and operational strategy.
- Experience managing large teams and complex reporting structures.
- all other duties and special projects as assigned
Pay: We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $407,060.00 - $641,125.00 CAD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
