JOB SUMMARY:

The District Manager – Consumer Products Canada will be responsible for driving strategic sales growth within the Canadian Consumer Products sector, focusing on providing tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. This role goes beyond managing relationships; it emphasizes a data-driven, customer-centric approach to identify opportunities, adapt strategies, and deliver measurable results. The District Manager – Consumer Products Canada will leverage market insights, customer insights, and collaboration with internal teams to sell more effectively, foster strong partnerships, and position Boshart’s products as leading solutions in the market.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities within the Canadian Consumer Products market. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies that meet customer needs and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail clients, ensuring Boshart products are well-represented and promoted. Act as the primary point of contact for Canadian Consumer Product accounts, providing excellent customer service and support.

  • Understand the needs and buying behavior of Canadian Consumer Product clients to provide tailored product solutions. Collaborate with customers to resolve any issues or challenges, ensuring a positive experience.

  • Utilize sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform decision-making and improve sales performance. Communicate insights to internal stakeholders to guide product development and pricing strategies.

  • Stay updated on competitor activities and market trends to ensure Boshart’s products remain competitive in the Canadian Consumer Products space. Provide feedback to internal teams on market dynamics and pricing opportunities.

  • Work closely with the purchasing and production teams to forecast demand for new and growing business, ensuring alignment between customer needs, inventory management, and production strategies.

  • Lead the RFQ process for Canadian Consumer Product accounts, ensuring accurate and timely submission of pricing, product specifications, and terms. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and deliver competitive proposals that meet client expectations.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute Canadian Consumer Product-specific marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches to drive awareness and sales within retail accounts.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in rebate negotiations and meetings

  • Suggest programming tools that will make department more efficient

  • Continually monitor competition for what they are doing / offering in the marketplace

  • Retrieve hard copy documentation where possible from competitors

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all projects

  • Make recommendations and suggest training for sales personnel

  • Travel to head office (Milverton, ON) as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Consumer Products account management or B2B sales, preferably within the Water Well and/or Plumbing industries.

  • Experience with RFQs and bidding processes

  • Bilingual is preferred (French)

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • Certified Sales Professional designation.

  • Strong background with Office 365, especially Excel.

  • Experience with D365
