Since its inception, the Owen Sound office has cultivated a strong local presence and a supportive, collaborative work culture. As Branch Manager, you will continue to foster and enhance this environment through inspiring leadership, operational oversight, and strategic growth. You will also help grow the current team and strengthen GEI’s footprint in the Grey-Bruce region. Our Owen Sound office focuses on municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development, water resources, and environmental services.
About the Role:
As Branch Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will provide leadership, operational oversight, and project excellence for the Owen Sound team. You’ll serve as a key representative of GEI in the region—cultivating client relationships, expanding service offerings, and guiding a team of multidisciplinary professionals. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the Owen Sound branch

Cultivate a strong, collaborative team culture focused on quality and continuous improvement

Provide senior project management and technical oversight on key initiatives

Maintain and expand relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and industry partners

Mentor and support the growth and development of team members at all career levels

Collaborate with other GEI offices to share knowledge, talent, and resources

Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and client engagement efforts

Champion GEI’s values of integrity, service, innovation, and inclusion
What You Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
-
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is preferred
-
10+ years of progressive experience in engineering or environmental consulting with demonstrated leadership skills
-
Deep understanding of the consulting project lifecycle and a commitment to client service excellence
-
Experience leading cross-functional teams and building high-performance cultures
-
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
-
A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset
-
A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
