Description Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of M&A, the M&A Analyst is to assist with all M&A related activity as well as Special Projects. The ideal candidate for this position can complete tasks autonomously and efficiently while having the capability to prepare financial models, memorandums and presentations. This individual can analyze business processes, understand the related underlying data and provide recommendations to improve the business operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare financial modeling, analysis and reports for M&A, Capital Investment and Corporate Development activity for internal management and external stakeholders
- Perform post-mortem (Lookback) analysis on acquisitions, expansions and other company endeavors
- Prepare financial analysis for internal improvement projects
- Prepare Investment and Due Diligence Memorandums
- Assist with guiding the Due Diligence Process from start to finish
- Maintain M&A data files and ensure data integrity
- Other core expectations as defined by the company
Requirements And Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business Administration, required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a
- Strong attention to detail and analytical
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Job requirements include light to moderate lifting, such as files.
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting with moderate noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax Individual must be able to work flexible hours (if necessary), have ability to travel, and must have a valid passport
