Overview Your Role
As a Civil Engineer, You Will
- Design sewer and water systems, potable water reservoirs, and new residential, commercial, and industrial developments;
- Design stormwater management structures;
- Perform calculations and define parameters necessary for design;
- Participate in the development of plans, drawings, data sheets, and technical specifications;
- Prepare reports and technical opinions as required by project objectives;
- Coordinate site supervision activities;
- Ensure project follow-up with various stakeholders involved;
- Conduct follow-up visits and attend site meetings;
- Comply with rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety and environmental protection, as well as incident prevention. In addition, in a continuous improvement mindset, be proactive in improving health, safety, and environmental procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Minimum of 2 years of experience;
- Valid Class 5 driver's license;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel);
- Willingness to travel to various sites in Northern Québec.
