The Marketing Operations Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing marketing processes, measuring marketing performance, and maintaining overall system functionality. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in supporting our marketing endeavors by executing campaigns leveraging Marketo, delving into data analysis, identifying trends, and offering actionable insights to optimize campaigns and fuel business growth. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, you'll be at the forefront of developing and executing data-driven strategies, monitoring marketing performance, and ensuring the effectiveness of our initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Systems Management: Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (Marketo, LeanData, Drift, 6Sense and Salesforce) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
- Database Quality Management: Monitor database health based on industry best practices to reduce leads and maintain accuracy of information.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data analysis to derive insights aimed at enhancing marketing strategies and campaigns. Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
- Process Improvement: Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management. Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop robust KPIs and scorecards for marketing performance monitoring. Proactively explore data to find trends, discover KPIs, and apply proper hypothesis testing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to develop and execute data-driven strategies. Present analysis and findings to a variety of audiences.
- Support Marketing Activities: Handle day-to-day marketing activities, including campaign management, data analysis, and project management.
- Technology Integration: Assist the technology team in designing applications that help optimize marketing operations and enhance the scope of campaign distribution
What you'll bring:
- 2-4 years experience as a Marketing Operations Analyst or in a related role
- Outstanding analytical skills and strong quantitative skills (e.g., advanced Excel skills).
- Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation and CRM platforms (e.g. Marketo and Salesforce)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement, especially within SaaS operations, is essential
- Strong ability to interpret data effectively and communicate findings clearly
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills are critical, with proficiency in Tableau or similar Business Intelligence tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities, with a focus on independent decision-making and project management.
- The ability to see the "big picture" while managing details and focusing on various objectives is key
- A commitment to fostering teamwork, cooperation, and conflict resolution to achieve organizational goals is essential
