Position: Senior Estimator (Print) Employment type: Full Time Permanent Vacancy status: Existing Vacancy Location : Burlington, ON (Hybrid) DCM is a leading Canadian tech-enabled provider of print and digital solutions that help simplify complex marketing communications and operations workflow. The role As a Senior Estimator, you’ll turn complexity into clarity—providing accurate, cost-effective estimates that drive value for our clients’ orders.
This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of 3 days per week in our Burlington site. The initial training period will be fully onsite (5 days per week) for the first 3-6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and deliver complete, accurate cost estimates within required timelines
- Advise sales teams and clients on the most efficient and cost-effective production methods
- Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers, monitoring capabilities, pricing, service levels, and availability
- Plan work strategically, balancing cost, quality, schedules, and production capacity
- Review and validate estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirement, including revising estimates and processing “Change Order” forms as required
- Source new products and print supplies, negotiate pricing, securing vendors, and authorizing the purchase of materials and supplies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of paper stocks, sourcing options, pricing, and product availability.
- Collaborate closely with Production teams to resolve issues and evaluate alternatives when project costs or scope change
- Utilizes estimating tools and related modules in computerized management information system
Skills & Experiences
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Communications Management, Print, or related field, with 3+ years of experience in an Estimating role within the print production industry
- Knowledgeable in print production processes, terminology, and specifications, including film, layouts, and print materials
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform highly accurate calculations
- Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines effectively

Compensation:$65,149 – $75,000 CAD per year
The compensation range listed reflects the expected compensation for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual skills and experience.
