Customs Specialist (ACE/ACI) – Nishan Transport
Location: Greater Toronto Area (In-Office) Company: Nishan Transport
Nishan Transport is a growing cross-border LTL carrier looking for an experienced Customs Specialist to join our team. If you're detail-oriented, work well under pressure, and have experience with cross-border freight and customs documentation, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process ACE and ACI customs documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate customs clearance with brokers, drivers, customers, and dispatch.
- Ensure all shipments comply with Canadian and U.S. customs regulations.
- Resolve customs-related issues quickly to avoid delays.
- Monitor shipment status and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience with ACE/ACI processing and customs clearance.
- Knowledge of cross-border LTL operations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with transportation software is an asset.
