About the role

What is the opportunity? ​

NBA's support of RBC's Personal Banking strategy aims to become a global leader in client experience (CX) by delivering hyper-personalized interactions and seamless client orchestration. Achieving this north star vision requires key transformational initiatives, and NBA is seeking a dynamic leader to help drive this transformation. This individual will have a proven track record in designing and executing complex integrated campaigns, with the ability to work across multiple lines of business. Flexibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate change are essential for success in this role.

As the Senior Manager, NBA Personalization CIDM Delivery, you will report to the Director, NBA Delivery – CIDM and play a critical role in the NBA vision accountable for leading and driving transformation initiatives through campaign decisioning activities, driving business growth and success across multiple lines of business, with a focus on both developing and executing optimized campaign initiatives that meet the needs of RBC's diverse client base. Success in this role requires comprehensive knowledge of multiple business functions (or various business domains) and their underlying technology platforms in order to effectively plan and deliver integrated campaigns that align with business goals.

What will you do?

  • Lead and support transformational initiatives including migration of campaigns across multiple LOB’s onto a new technology platform, executing and delivering on existing NBO campaigns, and/or designing and executing new campaigns in both an agile and non-agile environment
  • Responsible for both the Design and Delivery of actionable, accurate, and thorough campaigns to support channel and client optimization through exceptional design and execution skills with a strong understanding of the RBC Data Warehouse Environment and data Lake.
  • Act as a SME across the design and delivery of campaigns across multiple line of business, stepping in where needed to support shifting priorities and timelines to deliver on required transformational initiatives
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with key business stakeholders and cross functional partners ensuring campaign builds are designed to meet business objectives and NBA test and learn objectives
  • Enable opportunity sizing and audience profiling (clients and prospects) and translate business requirements into actionable and consumable marketing tactics and insights while ensuring campaign requirements accurately match the design and build with quality assurance.
  • Maintain adherence to all best practices, privacy and legal guidelines, and governance policies.
  • Influence stakeholders to drive RBC’s business growth through personalization.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Executional excellence with a solid understanding of the RBC Data Warehouse environment and data lake
  • Flexibility and adaptability across LOB and across design or execution functions stepping in where needed to support shifting priorities and timelines to deliver on required transformational initiatives
  • Prior experience with decisioning tools with deep data, analytics and technical skills along with exceptional communication skills to be able to translate business requirements into actionable and consumable marketing tactics insights.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytical role.
  • Analytical programming language skills (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience in campaign design and delivery, including test & learn design, statistical significance, and A/B testing.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical, communication, data visualization, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to bridge business and technical expertise to deliver targeted campaigns.
  • Ability to lead people and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think creatively.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, strong communicator.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in financial services or marketing.
  • Willingness to learn and improve campaign execution tools and processes.
  • Experience with modern data environments (e.g., Teradata, Unix, Datalake, Cloud).
