About the role

Position Overview

The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking a full-time academic radiologist with expertise in Abdominal Imaging. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Department through teaching, research, and clinical service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services in Abdominal Imaging.
  • Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Conduct and publish research in the field of Abdominal Imaging.
  • Participate in departmental and university committees.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent.
  • Certification in Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Abdominal Imaging.
  • Strong record of teaching and research.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging.
  • Experience in medical education and curriculum development.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • The position is based at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a leading academic health sciences centre in Toronto, Ontario.
