Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT & Data Systems Lead to help modernize our technology stack. This role blends internal IT support with system optimization and data strategy. You’ll manage IT infrastructure and software tools, support day-to-day tech needs across the business, and work closely with leadership to enhance data visibility and drive smarter decisions.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or product-based environment, has a strong service mindset, and can translate tech complexity into business value.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure & Support
- Manage all TAG employee laptops, devices, network access, security protocols, and internal tech tools
- Provide hands-on support for daily IT issues (Google Workspace, printers, email, etc.)
- Maintain asset inventory, user access permissions, backups, and update cycles
2. Systems Management & Support
- Drive Monday.com adoption, education and usage.
- Syspro (ERP) – support user needs and identify high-impact enhancement projects
- Support Excel Power Query driven applications
- Identify inefficiencies or redundancies in system usage and propose improvements
- Ensure systems are interoperable, well-maintained, and aligned with business needs
3. Data Architecture & Reporting
- Collaborate with the Manager of Data & Technology to improve data models, dashboards, and reporting logic.
- Power BI – develop visuals, support semantic models and create measures
- Enable better data visibility across finance, sales, production, and inventory
4. Digital Strategy & Planning
- Build and maintain system documentation, application changelogs, SOPs, and a support the roadmap for technology upgrades
- Stay up to date on digital best practices in manufacturing, business systems and AI tools.
5. Culture & Collaboration
- Be a tech partner to every department, from executives to floor staff
- Educate teams on best practices, tools, cyber-safety and system changes
- Balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on delivery
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3–5 years in an IT Systems, Business Intelligence, and Tech Support/Systems Analyst role
- Experience managing both hardware and cloud-based software tools (Monday.com, Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in user-facing environments
- Experience in small- to mid-sized companies, ideally in manufacturing, product, or distribution sectors
- SQL, Power BI, Power Query, Python and ERP exposure preferred (not necessarily expert level)
- Curiosity, adaptability, and service-first mindset
