About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with neurological, concussion, and pain-related conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Provide therapy focused on functional recovery, return-to-work planning, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and kinesiologists.
- Participate in EACR, ECAT, and other funded rehabilitation programs.
- Accurately monitor, document, and communicate patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on treatment approaches and self-management strategies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration/license to practice in British Columbia.
- Strong clinical skills in occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
- Experience or strong interest in neuro-rehabilitation and pain management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
