About the role
Job Title: REQ22176 - Project Manager Level 3 Client: Province of New Brunswick Department: Department of Health Business Days: 490 days ** Closing Date/Time: September 23th, 2025, 10:30 AM EST Office Location: In Fredericton, Remote Estimated Work Start Date : 23-Sep-2025 Estimated Work End Date: 22-Sep-2027 Standard Hours per day: 7.5 hours work day Note The location of work will be remote , but the proponents should be able to travel to the province of New Brunswick at least once a month throughout the project duration.
Deliverables The successful candidate must deliver the following to successfully complete the engagement:
Will Deliver Project Tasks and Deliverables:
Strategy & Prioritization Phase (Oct 2025 - Dec 2025)
- Documented business stream objectives.
- Prioritized project portfolio across six domains.
- Dependency analysis and resource estimates.
- Roadmap for execution.
Detailed Planning & Execution Phase (Jan 2025 - Oct 2026)
- High-level and detailed project plans per domain.
- Align with the governance framework and reporting structures.
- Progress reporting and risk/issue logs.
- Business continuity protocols and contingency plans.
- Final report on outcomes, lessons learned, and sustainability recommendations.
The Project Director will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and may need to complete Privacy and Security training, as required by the New Brunswick CIS consolidation project, prior to commencing the assignment.
Requirement Detail/Qualifications Project Manager
- Formulates statements of management, scientific and business problems, establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified computer systems to solve these problems, and obtain approval thereof.
- Defines and documents the objectives for the project, determines budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities, and terms of reference for the project team.
- Manages the project during the development, implementation and operations start up by ensuring that resources from all service areas are made available
- Reports progress of the project on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the sponsors of the project.
- Evaluates proposed computer systems to determine technical feasibility, functional adequacy, and estimated costs for implementation and operation.
- Meets in conference with program managers and other cognizant officials and states problems in a form capable of being solved.
- Prepares plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analysing or displaying problems. Works with a variety of scientific, business or engineering tools requiring a sound knowledge of mathematics and management sciences.
- Must have a demonstrated capability of managing a team of specialists, analysts and programmers.
