We are seeking a Process Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for manufacturing support, product industrialization, and continuous innovation within a high-performance semiconductor environment in our Montreal facility. This role is ideal for a leader who can balance operational excellence with forward-thinking process development while building a strong, collaborative team culture.
Your Impact
As Process Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing stability, accelerating product industrialization, and driving measurable improvements in yield, quality, and cost.

People & Leadership
- Champion occupational health and safety as a top priority.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, scientists, and specialized technicians.
- Align team objectives with organizational strategy and performance goals.

- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance.
- Promote a positive, results-driven mindset that encourages ownership and innovation.
Technical & Operational Excellence
- Own and continuously enhance the manufacturing quality system.
- Monitor production yields and drive structured improvement initiatives.
- Lead product industrialization efforts to ensure seamless transition from development to production.
- Manage daily operational challenges while maintaining focus on long-term strategic objectives.
- Define, track, and improve KPIs tied to yield, cycle time, cost, and reliability.
- Apply and promote Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, SPC, FMEA) to embed data-driven problem-solving into the team culture.
- Provide clear reporting and insights to senior leadership and corporate stakeholders.
Financial & Strategic Leadership
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate capital investments that support growth and innovation.
- Develop strong business cases for equipment, automation, and process upgrades.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Ensure return on investment through disciplined execution and performance monitoring.
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Physical Engineering (Bachelor’s degree with significant additional experience considered).
- 10+ years of experience in silicon or III-V semiconductor manufacturing or assembly.
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, particularly sensors and emitters.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt is a strong asset).
- Demonstrated experience in project management and industrialization.
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) and strong professional communication skills in English.
