Our FYidoctors Toronto Yonge St. clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as our newest Vision Therapist to fill an existing vacancy!
This position is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week until May 31st, 2027 . Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday .
What You'll Do

Develop and implement comprehensive vision therapy treatment plans for patients with vision and learning deficiencies, amblyopia, basic strabismus, and mild traumatic brain injuries under the guidance of Vision Therapy Supervisor as needed

Execute one on one therapy sessions with patients

Collaborate with the Optometrist to present detailed patient progress reports during weekly meetings, providing expert insights into treatment efficacy and patient outcomes

Participate in patient care communication

Referral communication with providers and patients

Case discussions with potential patients

Scheduling

Report writing for the Optometrist’s visual therapy exams

Conduct comprehensive visual skills assessments, utilizing standardized testing protocols and clinical observation, to identify patient visual strengths, weaknesses, and functional limitations

Assist in marketing needs and tasks for the visual skills clinic

Manage patient scheduling, including therapy sessions and follow-up appointments, to optimize patient flow and resource utilization

Perform other duties as necessary
What You Bring
- Minimum two years experiences as a Vision Therapist (preferred)
- Experience in child/human development, education, or OT/OTA preferred
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to amanage changing priorities effectively

The expected starting compensation for this position is between $18.92 to $22.29 hourly, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
