<p>About us: Located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, Playground is an internationally renowned gaming and entertainment destination currently undergoing a major expansion.</p><p>With new gaming floors, a luxury hotel, and elevated dining experiences, we are continuing to redefine entertainment in the region.</p><p>Schedule: Full-Time: 5:00AM to 1:00PM, 1:00PM to 9:00PM, 9:00PM to 5:00AM Must be available weekends Position Overview: Step into a career where no two days are the same.</p><p>At Playground, security is more than a role, it is about creating an exceptional guest experience in one of the world’s premier gaming destinations.</p><p>As a Security Officer, you will be at the heart of the action, helping create a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment for guests and team members.</p><p>Whether monitoring the property, responding to incidents, enforcing policies, or assisting guests, you will play a vital role in protecting the atmosphere and professionalism that define the Playground experience.</p><p>We are looking for confident, reliable, and customer-focused professionals who stay calm under pressure, communicate with professionalism, and take pride in delivering both outstanding service and security in a fast-paced entertainment environment.</p><p>What we have to offer: Competitive starting salary ($21.00/hour) Career growth: Diverse specialized roles from floor surveillance to high-security assignments, plus paid training programs that support skill development and increase earning potential.  Free parking 24/7 access to our fully equipped on-site gym Discounts on food Playground Vibes: From company-wide events to Playground Cares volunteer opportunities, you’ll be part of a tight-knit community.</p><p>Responsibilities: The Face of Safety: Greet and assist guests with professional flair while managing access control, including ID verification and bag inspections.</p><p>Dynamic Patrols: Maintain a high-profile presence across interior and exterior areas through regular patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment.</p><p>Conflict Resolution: Apply effective de-escalation techniques when needed to maintain the "vibe" of the floor.</p><p>Identify, address, and report suspicious activity, disturbances, or policy violations.</p><p>Respond promptly to incidents, including removals when required, while maintaining professionalism and composure at all times.</p><p>Collaborative Security: Work closely with team members via radio and coordinate with local Peacekeepers when necessary.</p><p>Emergency Response: Act as a first responder for First Aid or CPR situations.</p><p>Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all guests meet legal standards and adhere to company policies to keep our environment safe and fair.</p><p>Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of previous security experience Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong asset Must be 25 years of age or older Valid First Aid and CPR certification (strong asset) Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical interventions when required Flexibility required for shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required Martial arts or defensive tactics experience is considered a strong asset At Playground, your talents won’t just be used, they’ll be celebrated.</p><p>If you’re ready to build a career in a fast-paced, luxury environment where no two days are the same, we want to meet you.</li><li>________________ À propos de nous : Playground est une destination de jeu internationalement reconnue située à seulement 15 minutes en voiture au sud du centre-ville de Montréal, sur le territoire mohawk de Kahnawake.</p><p>Nous sommes actuellement en expansion, dévoil

Playground was established in 2010 and with the continued support of poker players from all over the world, Playground continues to expand and further develop our service offerings for our valued guests.
Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 44 poker tables and a selection of over 800 Electronic Gaming Devices. For dining, there are three distinct restaurants to choose from. There are authentic Japanese delights at the upscale Drunken Dragon, a vibrant steakhouse known as etc., and the locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. Additionally, there's the Babel, an exquisite cocktail, tapas, and Shisha lounge, and Esperanto, a sophisticated lounge dedicated to cigars and whisky. Phase 2 of our expansion will reach its completion upon the opening of a forthcoming hotel.
