About the role
Who we are? The Primary Construction Team consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP).
What is the project? The Ontario Line (“OL”) is a fully integrated, stand-alone, rapid transit system that connects Ontario Science Centre to the Exhibition and Ontario Place grounds. The Northern Civil, Stations and Tunnel (“NC”) project consists of approximately 7 kms of underground subway and elevated guideway, with stations along the segment providing connections to surface bus and streetcar routes. The NC project has been divided into two main progressive design-build contracts: (1) the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract (“EGS”) and the Pape Tunnel and Underground Station Contract (“PTUS”), with supporting Early Works.
What is the Opportunity? The Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports end-to-end hiring activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive candidate experience. This role partners closely with hiring managers, project teams, and HR to attract and secure the right talent based on operational demands and project schedules. The Coordinator ensures recruitment activities follow best practices, internal procedures, and organizational standards.
Responsibilities Recruitment Coordination:
- Support recruitment for positions across various teams and projects.
- Draft, review, and post job descriptions on internal and external platforms, ensuring alignment with role requirements and compliance.
- Coordinate interviews (in-person and virtual), managing complex schedules across multiple teams.
- Conduct prescreening calls to evaluate qualifications, availability, and fit.
- Maintain accurate recruitment documentation, candidate assessments, and trackers.
Candidate & Hiring Manager Support:
- Serve as main point of contact for candidates throughout the process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, staffing priorities, and project timelines.
- Prepare interview summaries, dashboards, and status updates for TA and HR leadership.
- Coordinate onboarding handoff, including offer documentation, background checks, and compliance requirements.
Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate information in internal recruitment trackers.
- Ensure processes comply with internal and external regulations.
- Support creation, revision, and filing of job descriptions, contracts, and approval documentation.
- Track hiring metrics and prepare regular reporting for TA and project stakeholders.
- Process Improvement & Talent Acquisition Support:
- Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment workflows, scheduling, and templates.
- Support outreach initiatives, including career fairs, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding activities.
- Assist in standardizing communication with candidates and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or HR coordination, preferably in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
- Experience managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously is considered an asset.
- Experience in unionized or large-scale project staffing environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in documentation and compliance.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in fast-paced, shifting environments.
- Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools.

About Trillium Guideway Partners
Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP) is at the forefront of delivering the Ontario Line Elevated Guideway and Stations contract, selected by Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx. The team has signed a Development and Master Construction Agreement (DMCA) with Metrolinx, under a progressive design-build contract.
The Trillium Guideway Partners team includes:
- Applicant Leads: Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc. and Amico Major Projects Inc.
- Design Team: WSP Canada Inc.
- Construction Team: Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc. and Amico Major Projects Inc
Under the Development and Master Construction Agreements (DMCA), we embrace a progressive design-build model, facilitating collaboration between Metrolinx and TGP to finalize scope, risk allocation, and pricing.
With a multi-stage development approach, we ensure attention to detail, enabling early works construction while fostering a collaborative environment. Our scope of work includes three kilometres of an elevated guideway (bridge structures); five elevated stations (Riverside-Leslieville, Gerrard, Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, Science Centre), one emergency exit building, interface with the operations and maintenance storage facility as well as with the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Line 5 and sections of existing Metrolinx-owned rail corridor where Ontario Line trains will operate.
