As part of Applied Solutions, you’ll help bridge the gap between engineering and construction to deliver safe, efficient, and successful project outcomes.

Your Impact

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of multidisciplinary construction and infrastructure projects throughout Ontario.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs, technical specifications, construction methodologies, and work instruction plans that support safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Drive constructability reviews by applying practical means-and-methods expertise and sequencing knowledge to optimize project execution.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with field teams, contractors, and clients to resolve technical challenges and deliver practical engineering solutions.
  • Support estimating and procurement activities through scope development, cost estimating, tender support, and contractor coordination.
  • Champion a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across project teams and construction sites.
  • Contribute to business growth by supporting proposal development, client relationship management, and identifying new project opportunities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario, or eligibility to obtain registration in Ontario.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience delivering construction, infrastructure, environmental remediation, demolition, industrial, or heavy civil projects in Canada.

  • Proven experience leading design management activities, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, and advancing projects from concept through construction.

  • Strong experience preparing technical specifications, construction packages, scopes of work, and contract documents for field execution.

  • Demonstrated expertise in construction planning, constructability reviews, means and methods development, project phasing, and work sequencing.

  • Experience in project management and contract administration, including managing schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent, with the ability to support field teams and resolve construction-related technical challenges.
