Job Summary:

Exactus Energy Inc. is seeking a Site Operations Summer Intern to join our team. This is a four-month internship, from September 15th 2025, to January 2nd 2026. The intern will support the Site Operations Team through support of the residential solar site survey scheduling, commercial solar site operations, and a new business venture.

Responsibilities:

• Complete a variety of tasks in support of the Site Operations Team.
• Assist with residential solar site survey scheduling, using scheduling software to book site survey appointments
• Provide support and troubleshooting advice to clients experiencing difficulty using scheduling software
• Set up new clients and new service offerings in scheduling software
• Report scheduling software issues/bugs to software team and follow up on resolution
• Provide support for commercial operations
• Online orders for rental equipment (ex: scissor lift), arrange shipments, pick up/drop off as needed
• Remotely communicating closely with project teams to confirm receipt of all required data
• Remotely communicating closely with site technicians to troubleshoot issues while on-site
• Assist with a new business venture and fulfill other duties as reasonably requested
• Identify areas of efficiency and requirements for scheduling appointments
• Assist with set up and customization of scheduling software according to findings

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a University Degree/College Diploma.
• Knowledge of GSuite (Gmail, Google Calendar) and project management software (e.g., Salesforce) is considered an asset, but not required.
• Knowledge of Slack instant messaging platform is considered an asset, but not required.
• Exceptional customer service skills, especially over the phone.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organization, time management, and critical thinking with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change.
• Experience in an administrative, logistics, or scheduling role is considered an asset, but not required.
• English language skills
• WFH/Technical requirements: Laptop/Computer with webcam and microphone, adequate internet upload/download speeds.

Compensation:

• Base wage: $25 per hour.
• Paid vacation: 25 hours for the duration of the contract.

Additional Information:

• The position reports to the Director of Site Operations.
• Hours of work will be a minimum of 30 hours per week
