You’ll receive the benefit of mentorship from our Employment and Labour lawyers across Canada, while also joining a growing practice locally in Vancouver.
Position Requirements:
Do you have what we’re looking for?

employment and labour law experience gained from a leading law firm;
-
experience representing employers at tribunal hearings and court proceedings;
-
experience advising employers in key areas of employment and labour law, such as:
-
- implications of corporate transactions and reorganizations;
- employment contracts and executive compensation;
- structuring employee dismissals/layoffs and responding to wrongful/constructive dismissal claims;
- human rights, workplace accommodations, and workplace investigations;
- occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation; and
- collective agreement administration, collective bargaining, union certification/decertification, strikes, lockouts and grievance arbitration;

excellent academic credentials; and
-
superior communication and drafting skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Compensation:
The compensation will be determined by the year of call and experience. The expected salary range for this position in British Columbia is $130,000 - $165,000.
