About the role

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Asset Management Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives that drive awareness, consideration, and revenue growth of Global Asset Management's investment products to B2B audiences.

Strategic Planning

  • Define and execute on the strategy and optimization of marketing, social and content campaigns.
  • Find integration and synergies across various initiatives supporting the GAM business and new opportunities to drive business revenue growth.
  • Continuously improve marketing team operations through thought leadership and best practice implementation.
  • Work with internal/external partners and digital analytics teams to obtain actionable insights, validate hypotheses and refine concepts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.

Campaign & Project Management

  • Oversees the development of advertising, promotional and communications material, and ensures governance requirements are met.
  • Provides strategic direction for media and creative development and ensures brand standards are maintained.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and result-oriented approach to campaign management, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with strategic thought and intention.
  • Collaborates with external agency partners to deliver business objectives.
  • Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media and platforms.

Social Media Management

  • Delivers and executes social media strategy to build thought leadership, support product launches and events.
  • Contributes to the creation of content strategy to appeal to a B2B audience, and ensures new content is regularly added to social media channels.
  • Manage GAM’s social media and content calendar.

Reporting & Insights

  • Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Utilize data to uncover insights to inform strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Typically between 5 - 8 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
  • Extensive experience in project management.
  • Results-oriented marketer with the ability to garner insights and execute flawless marketing campaigns grounded in customer insights.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization.
  • Comfortable with being uncomfortable and can effectively manage ambiguity, creating structure and defining opportunities.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Advertising/creative agency experience an asset.
  • Experience in, and knowledge of, the financial services industry an asset.
  • Experience with social media and content strategy an asset.
  • Experience with lead generation and account-based marketing an asset.

Salary :

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
