Interior Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner | Primary Care at North Hills Primary Care Clinic in Kamloops, British Columbia.
About the Role:
Primary care is often the first point of contact in the health care system and includes a range of services—whether it's a routine checkup with a family doctor, a session with a physiotherapist, or a consultation with a pharmacist or public health nurse. As a Nurse Practitioner within our Primary Health Care Centres, you will play a vital role in delivering collaborative, patient-centered care.
You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team that brings together physicians, other Nurse Practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, mental health professionals, and other health care providers. This coordinated approach ensures patients receive timely, appropriate care from the right provider.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop individualized care plans. You will collaborate closely with team members to promote continuity of care, improve health outcomes, and ensure patients’ needs remain central to all care decisions.
Work hours: Extended days – 4 days a week 08:00-18:00
Salary range for the position is $74.74/hour - $82.21/hour. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant.

Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
