Job Description

We’re looking for an AVP of Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement – Distribution Services to lead the strategy and execution of productivity, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across a national distribution network. In this highly visible leadership role as a transformational leader, you'll influence over $540M in network costs, partner with global teams and senior leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain, and drive scalable solutions that improve efficiency, safety, service, and associate experience. What You’ll Do

Define and execute the Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement strategy that drives productivity, operational excellence, and long-term scalability across a national distribution network. Lead labour optimization, engineered standards, process design, and workforce planning initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance associate safety and experience. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by prioritizing and delivering high-impact, sustainable initiatives that generate measurable business results. Partner with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, Supply Chain Business Systems, and global teams to align strategies, optimize performance, and drive enterprise-wide execution excellence. Leverage data, analytics, and technology to see opportunities, improve decision-making, and support future-ready distribution operations. Build, coach, and inspire high-performing Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams while developing organizational capabilities for sustained success. Stay ahead of industry trends and methodologies, bringing innovative thinking and leading-edge solutions that strengthen operational performance and competitive advantage.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree or Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset. 8+ years of progressive experience in Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, or Distribution Operations within complex, multi-site environments. Experience using supply chain systems, technology, and performance metrics to drive efficiency, scalability, and sustainable results. Exceptional relationship-building and influencing capabilities, with experience collaborating across Operations, Finance, HR, Technology, and executive leadership teams. Proven senior leadership experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams and driving large-scale operational transformation. Deep expertise in labour planning, productivity optimization, process design, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business outcomes.
