Job Description
As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for Amcor’s Stretch Film product line in the Ontario, Canada market. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as managing and strengthening relationships with existing customers across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new prospects through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with both distributor partners and end-users, by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective selling strategies in collaboration with distribution partners to maximize territory performance.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with existing customers to increase product sales, uncover new opportunities, and ensure satisfaction.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term, multi-level relationships with customer contacts across Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Shipping departments.
- Sales Performance: Consistently exceed budget goals and sales targets through strategic territory management and customer-focused selling.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory performance reports to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across manufacturing plants and divisions with customer synergies and to support customer needs and resolve issues.
- Territory Assignment: Role requires regular travel throughout Ontario and a strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
- 5 years of outside sales experience
- Up to 50% Travel
- Packaging sales recommended, but not required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions
- Solid Computer and organization skills
- Ability to learn new products and technologies
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Experience with CRM Tools
