24/7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions is looking for two licenced Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) to work at a large mine in the Bathurst Inlet region of Nunavut. The ACP would be joining a team of medical professionals including Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Advanced Care Paramedics, and Primary Care Paramedics. Our occupational health clinic is supported remotely by a team of ER physicians.

The Certified Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) will be expected to practice within the medical directives and formulary as approved by the 24/7 OEMS Medical Director. The ACP will work as part of the on-site and remote clinical team and have access to our 24/7 on-call emergency medicine consultants. Prior experience in occupational medicine and or the provision of care in a remote setting would be an asset.
This position is a full-time position. The anticipated start date is in January 2026 with training and orientation starting in December 2025.
Overview:
- Location: Occupational health clinic located at the mine's project location
- Accommodations: Provided while on rotation.
- Shifts: 12-hour (day shifts)
- Rotation: Three weeks on / three weeks off
- Duties: Provide medical support for any injuries or illnesses on-site
- Support: Full access to our emergency medicine team for consultation
- Travel: All travel, including to and from Nunavut, is covered
- Requirement: Must hold a current Advanced Care Paramedic Licence in good standing
The ACPs will be expected to:
- Provide emergency medical care to injured or ill workers, including making transport decisions within their scope of practice.
- The ACP approved scope of practice will primarily align with their provincial licensing / governing body, including delegated medical acts approved by the 24/7 OEMS Medical Director, individual competence and training in selected skills, urgency of patient condition, and on-site medical resources.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Care Paramedic licence in good standing (Required)
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Daily rate of $750 - $800 overtime averaged for 12 hour/ day (plus 4% in lieu of vacation)

Schedule:
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts
- Rotation: Three weeks on / three weeks off, alternating teams
