The** Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese ** (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. St. Francis Xavier is a thriving Catholic elementary double-streamed school located in Vancouver close to downtown and transit.

JOB DESCRIPTION

**St. Francis Xavier School is looking for a dedicated full-time Learning Support Teacher to cover for a maternity leave from September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning and supervision of Individual Education Plans, chair school-based team meetings with staff and different specialists, maintain student files, plan and supervise the schedules and work of education assistants. The applicant will also be able to provide support to children that need support (push in and pull out), including English Language Learning (ELL) support and children with learning and behavioural challenges. Good organization and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are expected. The applicant is expected to perform other duties as assigned, including some extra-curricular sports. Start date: September 1, 2026.
