As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll conduct pricing analytics, develop and implement pricing strategies, and administer pricing changes to drive profitable growth while enhancing customer loyalty. This role combines advanced data analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business impact.
For this position, the expected base salary range is between $70,000 and $90,000 annually. We also offer additional incentives such as an annual bonus and premium for certain shifts.
Job Description:
- Participate in pricing projects or apply deep knowledge of regional pricing practices to identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze pricing discount and uplift strategies, providing evidence-based recommendations to management.
- Support the development and evaluation of global and corporate marketing programs, including post-program analysis.
- Review competitive intelligence, lost sales data, and customer feedback to recommend targeted pricing adjustments.
- Ensure pricing structures and loyalty programs are evaluated and updated according to established schedules.
- Provide Sales and Product Managers with visibility into revenue and pricing performance through consistent reporting.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Conduct detailed pricing and revenue analytics using SQL and data visualization tools.
- Prepare and present pricing recommendations to leadership teams.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing changes and track results.
- Maintain accurate pricing data and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics (MBA is an asset).
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, with 3+ years in pricing, economics, or marketing analytics.
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) or similar designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pricing structures, implementation processes, and systems.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Important:
- Based out of our Edmonton, Calgary, Regina or Surrey branches.
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Monday–Friday, 5x2 schedule.
