Job Description:
Private Wealth Management (PWM) provides high-net worth and ultra-high-net client segments with holistic discovery and planning towards customized advice and solutions. Based on the commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, they bring a distinct discovery process and an integrated, team-based approach to build a wealth strategy that reflects each client's unique needs. Team members collaborate closely with each other to fully franchise the client while delivering the full spectrum of TD Wealth Services, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Advisory and Insurance Services.
This role is responsible for leading a team of specialized Wealth Management professionals in Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Advisory Services, and Wealth Insurance Services.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of a consistent and integrated PWM experience to all clients and prospects in the Centre and actively demonstrate leadership in the consistent execution of the Sales and Client Engagement Model (CEM).
- Lead a highly qualified and collaborative team of Wealth Management professionals, which includes Senior Private Bankers, PWM Planners, Business Succession Advisors, Estate Planning Advisor's and Trust Advisors
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales goals
- Ensure that all new clients receive an enhanced on-boarding experience, which includes a thorough client discovery process, creation of a tailored Wealth Strategy and a differentiated HNW planning experience through early introductions to applicable PWM Partners
- Contribute to the recruiting process and ensure a highly diverse, qualified workforce to achieve business objectives
- Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
- Provide ongoing support to Region Head and the field Network by coordinating and championing regional initiatives, gathering regular feedback to improve growth strategies
- Consistently lead and facilitate sales meetings in the area of business development, practice management, while working with our TD partners and professional development
- Partner effectively with the Retail branch network, Commercial Bank as well as other wealth management professionals to translate into potential leads and greater share of wallet
Requirements:
- 10 years of Sales Leadership experience that includes leading diverse specialties
- Previous experience in Private Banking and/or Private Trust and a strong Financial Planning background
- Deep understanding of the HNW & UHNW client sector
- Undergraduate university degree
- Investment Management course, CIM or CFA is required
- CFP or PFP designation (CFP preferred) is an asset
- Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP) is a strong asset
