About the role

The successful applicant will conduct qualitative data analysis from a large-scale survey.

The successful candidate will:

  • Organize, clean, and prepare qualitative datasets from open‑ended survey responses.
  • Import and structure data within qualitative analysis software to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Synthesize findings to be used in research reports, visualizations, memos, and presentations.
  • Maintain secure, confidential data storage in alignment with ethical and institutional guidelines

Position Requirements

The applicant must have (the):

  • Proficiency with at least one major qualitative analysis software platform (e.g., NVivo, ATLAS.ti, MAXQDA, Dedoose).
  • Ability to manage, clean, and organize large qualitative datasets (interviews, focus groups, open‑ended survey responses, field notes, multimedia).
  • Experience developing and applying coding frameworks (deductive, inductive, or hybrid).
  • Ability to generate data visualizations, coding matrices, and analytic summaries using software tools.
  • Familiarity with secure data management practices and confidentiality protocols.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

The successful applicant will work 10 hours per week until April 30th. With potential of a contract extension to June 30th.
