On the heels of our $122M USD Series D funding , we’re racing ahead with an exciting product roadmap and are looking for a Partnerships Development Representative to support our growth. Reporting directly to our Director of Partnerships, this role will focus heavily on strengthening our relationships with industry partners.

A Note on Location We are excited to meet with qualified candidates and are grateful for everyone’s interest. Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring travel to the Toronto office a few times a quarter for in-person meetings. Additionally, there will be occasional travel for conferences. All candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Opportunity As a Partnerships Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in supporting Blue J’s partnership growth initiatives. You’ll work closely with our Partnerships team to identify new opportunities, engage potential partners, and help execute joint initiatives with industry associations, alliances, and other strategic collaborators.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s interested in partnership development, business growth, and working at the intersection of AI. You’ll gain hands-on experience in relationship management, partnership development, and marketing collaboration while helping shape the future of how tax research is done.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Research and identify potential partnership opportunities with industry associations, technology providers, and relevant organizations.
  • Support partner enablement by keeping partners informed about new features, content, and product updates to ensure continued engagement and success.
  • Support outreach campaigns by crafting personalized communications and coordinating introductions and meetings.
  • Assist in managing existing partner relationships, helping ensure timely follow-ups and smooth collaboration.
  • Coordinate logistics for webinars, co-marketing campaigns, and partner events.
  • Track partnership engagement and performance metrics using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, and Product teams to support partnership initiatives and align goals.
  • Help prepare presentations, reports, and materials for partner meetings and conferences.

What You Offer Blue J

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer success, partnerships, sales, business development, or marketing (SaaS or B2B experience a plus).
  • Strong communication, and relationship-building abilities, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
  • Keen business acumen with the ability to identify and develop opportunities into successful collaborations.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Organized and proactive, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
