Tacten is looking for an IRATA Level 3 Project Manager to support operations in the Pacific Region. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels in a fast-paced trades environment and is eager to take on leadership responsibilities, broaden their skillset, and make a tangible impact on high-profile projects while advancing their career.
Position Details
- Location Kamloops, BC
- Schedule Project-based, up to 40 hrs/week, with potential for overtime
- Rate Up to $59.50/hr, depending on certifications
- Requirements Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate

- Provide support and leadership diverse teams
- Mechanical and Industrial Experience required, with hands-on exposure to equipment, piping, and structural components
- Supervision of Trades Oversee and collaborate with various trades, including pipefitters, welders, and other technical staff
- Project Management Provide overall supervision and management for crews and Rope Access (RA) work scopes, including planning and organizing work sites
- Crew Oversight Directly supervise all crews performing technical and industrial services at heights, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Safety Management Responsible for the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, ensuring compliance with IRATA standards and organizational safety policies
- Regulatory Compliance Ensure both individual and organizational adherence to IRATA standards and regulations, supporting safe, high-quality, and effective performance of work
- IRATA Level 3 Certification
- Mechanical/Industrial Experience in hands-on environments
- Multi-Trade Experience, with exposure to managing and coordinating diverse teams
- Project Management Experience, overseeing schedules, resources, and work execution
- Welding Expertise, including knowledge of inspection, procedures, and fabrication practices
- NDT Certifications/Experience considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and team members
- Exceptional safety awareness and dedication to maintaining quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
