Part-Time | Evenings & Weekends | Opportunity for Full-Time Employment

B’nai Brith Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Sports Department as a part-time Sports Associate. This is an exceptional opportunity for a current student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in sports program administration, event operations, and community engagement within a national nonprofit organization.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sports Director, the Sports Associate will support the delivery of high-quality recreational programming across the Greater Toronto Area. The role combines administrative responsibilities, on-site event support, and digital media engagement to provide a comprehensive introduction to sports management in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks within the Sports Department
  • Assist in the coordination, supervision, and execution of sports programs and events
  • Set up and take down equipment and materials at venues across the GTA
  • Interact with program participants, members, and partners to ensure a welcoming and professional environment
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during events for promotional purposes
  • Provide logistical support as needed, including registration, attendance tracking, and communications

Key Attributes

  • Passion for sports, recreation, and community engagement
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional, friendly, and reliable interpersonal style
  • Experience with social media platforms and basic digital content creation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with registration or scheduling software is an asset
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to event venues across the GTA
  • Availability to work part-time hours, primarily evenings and weekends
