The Department of Education invites applications for sessional contract instructors starting in the Winter 2026 semester. The Department of Education currently offers a four year Bachelor of Education Elementary degree.
About the Role
The Department of Education invites applications for a contract instructor position as a Faculty Supervisor for EDUC 4030 Practicum II. The semester starts on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 and ends on April 25th, 2026.
Practicum supervision involves weekly seminars in schools, lesson observations, and support for mentor teachers and teacher candidates through the evaluation process. Faculty supervisors must be available for weekly meetings.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a Masters degree in Education, with a Ph.D. preferred, experience teaching in the K–12 system, with K-6 preferred, expertise in mentoring teacher candidates and evaluating teaching practice, and relevant undergraduate teaching and/or professional experience. A valid police information check.
