We’re looking for a full-time Junior Window Installer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone eager to start or build a career in the window installation industry. You’ll work alongside experienced installers who will provide hands-on training and ongoing support, helping you learn the trade and develop practical skills. We offer a positive, team-focused environment with clear opportunities to grow and progress within the company.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside senior window installers to learn residential and mid-rise window installation
- Assist with the removal of existing windows and installation of new units under supervision
- Learn how to accurately measure window openings and verify fit
- Help prepare job sites, including setting up tools, materials, and safety equipment
- Carry, load, and unload windows, tools, and installation materials
- Prepare window openings by cleaning, levelling, and removing debris
- Apply insulation, sealants, flashing, and weatherproofing materials as directed
- Learn basic interior and exterior trim installation with guidance from experienced installers
- Safely use hand and power tools, with training provided
- Follow all safety procedures, job-site rules, and company policies
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the day
- Take direction from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on-site
- Learn proper installation techniques, materials, and industry best practices
- Develop skills and knowledge to take on increased responsibility over time
What You’ll Bring
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn window installation techniques
- Basic experience using hand and power tools (an asset, training provided)
- Strong work ethic and ability to take direction
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude with customers
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and grow into more responsibility
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; construction or trade experience is an asset but not required
