Strategic Account Executive
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and relationship‑driven Strategic Account Executive to manage a portfolio of clients, serve as their trusted advisor, and ensure the successful delivery of our products and services. In this role, you will build lasting partnerships, collaborate with internal teams, and represent our organization at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
The Account Executive acts as the main point of contact for clients, connecting with key decision makers, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the partnership.
West Coast candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic relationship manager and build long-term partnerships with assigned clients.
- Support clients through email, phone, virtual meetings, presentations, and in‑person interactions.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, stakeholders, and executive-level leaders.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions that align with client needs and organizational objectives.
- Clearly communicate updates, progress, and initiatives to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Forecast and track key account metrics; maintain a thorough understanding of each client’s account.
- Stay informed by engaging in professional development, industry education, and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to departmental and organizational success by taking ownership of new tasks and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service on a day-to-day basis.
- Travel as needed. For candidates near our Bonita Springs, Florida or Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania offices, a hybrid schedule may apply.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or account management.
- Experience working with Taft-Hartley plans preferred.
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including fractions and decimals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Professional appearance and communication style.
- Experience with prescription benefit plans strongly preferred; vision benefit experience is a plus.
- Ability to present products and information in a variety of settings, including meetings, conferences, health fairs, and industry summits.
