About the role

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer (10+ Years) to join an established downtown Vancouver Boutique law firm.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Commercial Litigator to play an integral role within the litigation department of this leading law firm and work on a variety of complex matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Known for its sophisticated and strategic legal advocacy work, the firm has serviced regional and national businesses, including entrepreneurs, real estate developers, lenders and borrowers on complex matters for decades.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate Will :

  • Be a member of the British Columbia Bar and have a JD or LLB from an accredited Canadian Law School.
  • Have a minimum of 10 Year of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Have have a proven track record of courtroom advocacy in trial and appellate matters.
  • Will have demonstrable success in ADR And negotiation.
  • Excellent Legal Drafting including: pleadings, applications, affidavits, written submissions and settlement agreements.
  • Have strong business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluence in Chinese.
  • International experience is also an asset but not a requirement.
