We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Home Office team in Etobicoke. This role will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices, match with purchase orders, and obtain approvals as required.
- Prepare and process weekly cheque runs and electronic payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files and records.
- Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve AP issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in the AP process.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle accounts payable role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
