This role will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and performance of gas turbine engines and compression systems, combining technical expertise with problem-solving to keep critical assets running safely and efficiently. In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, the role contributes to the design and implementation of capital projects and system upgrades that enhance long-term performance and reliability.

What You Will Do
- Working with others, ensure adequate technical support is available to manage the ongoing high reliability of the Storage and Transmission compression and piping systems.
- Develop, lead and support engineering solutions for equipment repairs, replacements or overhauls.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across systems and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Plan, design, execute, and deliver capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Remain current and knowledgeable on Original Equipment Manufacturer’s recommended maintenance practices and recall bulletins, adjusting the current maintenance schedules and practices as required.
- Update existing or prepare of new Procedures and/or Standards.
- Participate in root cause failure analysis and incident reviews as the need arises.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the Mechanics, Technicians and Operations Groups at STO, Head Office Engineering, Asset Management, Environmental Groups and Suppliers/Vendors alike.
Who You Are You have the following education and experience:
- A university degree in Engineering/Applied Science with a P. Eng Designation.
- Minimum 7 years of directly related engineering work experience.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate optimally with various internal and external groups.
- Strong technical capability with focus on trouble shooting, problem solving, innovation, negotiating and teamwork.
- Passion for upholding Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Inclusion.
Following Are The Preferred Skills
- Experience in operations and/or maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Experience working with CSA Z662.
Working Conditions
- Some travelling (20-25%) will be required for this role.
- Valid Ontario "G" Driver's License and responsible driving record will be needed.
