Job Title – Lead Data analyst/Product owner

In this role, you will:

• Stakeholder Engagement & Management:
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various teams to understand and prioritize their data needs.
• Manage and align stakeholder expectations through effective communication and delivery management.
• Requirement Gathering & Backlog Prioritization:
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document detailed data requirements.
• Prioritize work based on strategic goals and available resources.
• Mentor and lead junior product owners, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities.

Data Analysis & Management:

• Analyze complex data sets to drive insights and support decision-making.
• Conduct source profiling and build advanced queries to extract necessary data.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
• Manage the end-to-end data product lifecycle.

What you need to have to be considered

• Utilize Power BI for data visualization and presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Data Platform, including ADLS, Databricks, and PySpark, is highly beneficial.
• Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or data product ownership roles.
• Proficiency in Power BI is required.
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud Data Platform is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between CAD 85,000 – CAD 145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
