We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Property Caretaker to maintain and support multiple residential and commercial properties located throughout Kelowna and West Kelowna. This role is ideal for someone with strong handyperson skills who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining properties, and can work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general property upkeep, lawn and garden maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring all sites remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general handyperson and maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, basic carpentry, and troubleshooting property issues
• Complete routine property inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain lawns and landscaped areas including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, and seasonal cleanup
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Travel between multiple job sites in Kelowna and West Kelowna
• Ensure properties are clean, organized, and presentable at all times
• Assist with seasonal property maintenance such as snow removal and irrigation checks
• Coordinate with management regarding supply needs and repair priorities
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain equipment properly

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 3 years of previous handyperson and/or property maintenance experience required
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscaping maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to manage time efficiently between multiple job locations
• Strong communication skills in English (writing, reading, speaking)
• Ability to task-switch and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience operating a Bobcat or similar equipment
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems
• Experience with small equipment maintenance
