About the role
St. Ann's Catholic School is located in Quesnel, BC. The school enrolls approximately 120 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. For the 2025 - 2026 school year, we are seeking a skilled, qualified candidate to join our team as a 0.4 FTE teacher with the subject assignment area of Religion. This position commences September 1, 2026 and concludes June 30, 2027.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- active membership in a Catholic parish
- commitment to excellence in Catholic education
- Aptitude to differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Knowledge of current instructional practices and the renewed curriculum
- Experience using innovative teaching methods in both primary and intermediate classrooms, that may include remote learning experiences
- Well-versed in the ability to integrate Catholic culture in the classroom
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of current instructional strategies and assessment methods;
- Excellent and proven classroom management skills
- Exceptional communication strategies with students, staff, and parents.
- a genuine sense of joy in teaching and learning
- a valid TRB certification
- the desire to provide leadership of extracurricular activities
