What You’ll Do: As an HVAC Electrical Assembler, you’ll dive deep into Air Wise’s policies and procedures, leveraging your knowledge to support production and expand our market presence. Your role will be dynamic, allowing you to work both independently and collaboratively with a talented team.

Responsibilities and Duties include: Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints under Canadian Electrical Code to determine the layout of electrical equipment installation Install electro motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), circuit breakers, disconnect switches, and other electrical control devices on HVAC units Install and replace transformers, reactors, temperature and pressure sensors and gauges, humidity sensors, and other sophisticated control devices on HVAC units Test electrical equipment, circuits, and dampers motor for voltage, current and continuity Install compressor control circuits, humidifier, damper motors, and other control devices Install, replace, and repair electrical wiring, switch boxes, liquid tights and conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Promote teamwork and good company morale; mentor and knowledge share with teammates; conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards
Qualifications & Education: Secondary School Diploma or equivalent Post-secondary education in a related field an asset 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or construction environment Experience in a lead hand or supervisory capacity an asset Experience with sheet metal an asset Knowledge of HVAC manufacturing an asset Able to read drawings and tape measure with attention to detail Able to work as a part of the team with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines Good troubleshooting skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and move large pieces of sheet metal (up to and above 50 lbs.) on a consistent basis
