We need a Manager of Quality & Professional Practice to join our leadership team! You want to be part of our Leadership Team as we Elevate Quality with a specific focus on enhancing the patient experience. In this role you will get to do drive success and actions under our Quality Improvement Plan, ensure Accreditation Readiness for Spring 2027 and develop and implement a professional practice strategy and much more!
The Manager of Quality, Patient Safety & Professional Practice is data focused and supports the development, tracking, analysis, interpretation and evaluation of quality and patient safety metrics whilst also guiding CGMH stakeholders in the use of data and evidence-based decision making.
This role will provide strategic oversight for clinical educators, clinical scholars, and clinical externs as well as build relationships and drive collaboration with leaders, staff, physicians, students/learners to facilitate interprofessional learning.
In developing high quality orientation, simulation and training materials the successful applicant will partner closely with Learning & Engagement to ensure consistency across the organization in learning delivery and performance excellence.

What You’ll Bring
Required
Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
BScN Strong knowledge of clinical nursing practice and college of nurses standards of practice Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated ability to drive interprofessional learning and education Strong knowledge of Quality Improvement principles and frameworks Experience in incident management systems and Quality of Care reviews resulting in enhanced patient safety
Preferred
Masters Degree in nursing or health-related discipline
Quality & Patient Safety certification Change Management Certification Experience with Accreditation Meditech Expanse experience

About COLLINGWOOD GENERAL & MARINE HOSPITAL
Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is an 84 bed hospital located in Collingwood, Ontario (approximately 90 minutes north of Toronto) that serves more than 74,000 permanent residents and 3.5 Million annual visitors to the communities of Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Clearview and the Blue Mountains. CGMH is an acute care hospital providing emergency care, diagnostic services including lab, imaging and cardio respiratory therapy, as well as two inpatient units (medicine and surgery). In addition, CGMH also provides care in specialty areas including obstetrics, orthopaedics, intensive care and surgery. The Hospital also provides out patient care including dialysis and a wide range of clinics including mental health and rehabilitation services. CGMH continues to provide care close to home for our community and plays a key role as an integrated orthopaedic centre for our region.
