Position Summary
The Manager, Supply Chain supports the full source to contract lifecycle, and supplier relationships. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Projects, this role involves managing cross-functional teams to execute operational strategies, address supply chain risks, and achieve cost efficiencies. The Manager oversees key supplier relationships and agreements, ensures compliance with policies, and contributes to the alignment of supply chain operations with organizational objectives.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Provides leadership and guidance on supply chain processes for an assigned team

Works with client groups to define, analyze, and prioritize procurement plan requirements aligned with business strategies

Manages procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

Proactively takes steps to address potential supply chain risks and develop the necessary mitigation strategies

Identifies, leverages and recommends opportunities for cost saving or business efficiencies
-
Leads RFx process including development, identifying qualified sources of supply, evaluation and normalization of proposals, and awards

Tracks market trends and provides insights for improved sourcing decisions
-
Drafts, negotiates and supervises execution of efficient agreements
-
Leads cross-functional sourcing projects

Builds and maintains strong relationship with key suppliers to drive performance and reduce total cost of ownership

Works efficiently in a team environment with all levels of leadership

Helps develop and support policies and procedures that govern the purchase and supply of goods and services and identify areas for process improvement

Liaise with third party suppliers to develop strong relationships resulting in improved compliance, efficiencies and scheduling
-
Promote good communications with the team and leadership through regular reporting and team meetings
-
Drives continuous improvement, proactively looks for ways to define and streamline buying channels and reduce organizational drag
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
-
SCMP or Master’s Degree in relevant discipline preferred
-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a relevant discipline required
-
10+ Years Supply Chain experience required
-
Highly proficient in RFx process, Contract Development and Lifecycle Management, negotiations & management
-
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-
Driven and self-starter individual, with a proactive approach to procurement and supply chain
-
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
-
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to think strategically
-
Proven track record in achieving results through the application of strategic purchasing practices
-
Proven track record with effective participation on cross-functional teams, and generating results through coordinating the inputs and efforts of others
