Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator for a 6-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Bedford, Nova Scotia office.
Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator - Job Description: The Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate completion of all assigned tasks within regulatory standards to enhance client experience. The role involves supporting various departments in resolving client issues and maintaining high-quality service.
Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator - Responsibilities:
- Pre-screen, prepare, and input financial and non-financial transactions by standard cut-off times.
- Monitor and clear Workflow/Capture items within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Apply quality control procedures and reconcile daily trades.
- Handle daily deposits and cheque processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external client groups.
- Audit transactions, suggest process improvements, and provide feedback to reduce errors.
- Update Desk Operating Procedures and perform other tasks as assigned.
Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator - Mandatory Skills:
- Strong understanding of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund administration and the Dealer network.
- Expertise in Unitrax Recordkeeping System.
- Working knowledge of FundSERV.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- At least 2+ years of financial service or mutual funds administration experience.
- Intermediate computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong technical and analytical skills in running/debugging various applications and macros.
Bilingual Transaction Processing Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Good working knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically in Mutual Fund and Segregated Funds administration.
- Sound knowledge of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund taxation and compliance/regulation, including Registered Products.
- Proven track record in leading initiatives and managing cross-functional relationships.
- Completion of IFIC Mutual Funds Operations Course.
- FundSERV knowledge.
